She's Gone

Hunter Gifford had been looking forward to going to the homecoming dance with his girlfriend Chloe Summers, but when he runs his car into a tree afterward, what should've been the perfect evening turns into a nightmare. Not only does he have no memory of what happened, but his girlfriend is missing and some of her blood is in the car. Other students witnessed Hunter and his girlfriend arguing at the dance, and now Hunter is the number one suspect. Of course, it doesn't help that Chloe's mother accuses him of murder at her vigil, and Hunter's former best friend is making a documentary about Chloe that makes him look guilty. Realizing his memory probably isn't going to return, Hunter decides to take matters into his own hands and start investigating Chloe's disappearance on his own, leading to a shocking discovery. David Bell has written an engaging novel that mystery fans are sure to enjoy!
