Promise Boys

J.B., Ramón, and Trey all attend Urban Promise Prep School, a charter school in Washington, D.C. with high standards and strict rules for student conduct. None of the students like the principal, but when he's shot in his office during a basketball game, J.B., Ramón, and Trey each become prime suspects. All three were supposed to be in detention but left right before the principal was shot, and all of them were seriously angry with him. Now, each of them is being grilled by the police, questioned by their families, and looked at suspiciously by their classmates. It's not long before they realize they'll have to investigate the murder on their own if they're to find answers and clear their names.
