Miles Morales: Spider-Man

Miles is pretty much your average sixteen-year-old, hanging out with his best friend, crushing on a beautiful girl, and trying to do his best in school, but what sets him apart is that he happens to be Spider-Man. Unfortunately, his spidey sense seems to be off, always alerting him when he's in history class, but is it truly malfunctioning, or is there something nefarious going on with his teacher, who happens to glorify slavery. When Miles' intuition gets him suspended, he begins to question whether he should continue fighting crime or hang up his red and black suit, but his best friend Ganke pressures him to stick with it, and Miles soon uncovers an ongoing plot that affects those he loves and others from his neighborhood. Fans of spider-man may enjoy this multicultural installment with a social justice twist.
