Jumper

Nineteen-year-old Blair has one dream, to be a smoke jumper, a firefighter who parachutes into a site near a wildfire to help mitigate the devastation. There's only one problem: she has type 1 diabetes. Sure that she won't be given a chance to prove herself, she hides her medical condition from everyone except her best friend Jason who worries about her constantly. As he fights fires with her, he monitors her for signs that her blood sugar is too low which happens easily in situations that are physically or mentally draining. Jason is getting tired of covering for her and worrying that some irreversible harm will happen to her, but she reassures him that she just needs to get through the training and prove herself, but her insistence may put her and/or Jason in danger.
