Pepper, a transplant to New York from Nashville, is having a rough senior year. She's a perfectionist, hoping to go to Columbia in the fall, misses her dad and big sister, and is pressured by her mom to remain the Twitter guru for the family business Big League Burger. Jack goes to the same school, constantly feels like he dwells in the shadow of his twin brother, and works at his parent's deli, for which he posts to Twitter. His father is pressuring him into taking over the deli one day, but he feels that he'll be giving up on his dream of becoming a professional app developer, but one app he's already made brings Pepper and Jack together anonymously. They bear their souls to each other through the chat app, not realizing that the other person is the same person IRL with whom they are waging a Twitter war. Told in alternating points of view, Tweet Cute is a fun read for those who enjoy rom-coms.
