Thieves Gambit

Seventeen-year-old Ross Quest and her mother are legendary when it comes to crime families, but Ross is tired of committing heists and longs for a normal life and college. Unfortunately, when she devises a plan to leave her life of crime, her mother is kidnapped and held for a one billion dollar ransom. Ross's only hope is to enter the Thieves’ Gambit—a high-stakes, international heist competition which will pit her against other leading thieves from around the world. If she wins, she'll be able to obtain the money she needs to free her mother, but the cutthroat competition endangers her and those she allies with, including a rather handsome young man with a cute British accent. As the challenges intensify, Ross will start questioning who she can trust and if it's true what her mother always said, "Trust no one!" This suspenseful novel is a great pic for those who enjoyed Jennifer Barnes' novel The Inheritance Games or movie Oceans Eleven.
