The Summer We Forgot

Juniors Darby, Morgan, and several of their friends worked as camp counselors for their biology teacher who recruited them to work the camp. He went missing and none of the counselors can remember much about that summer. When his body turns up, and one of the teens goes missing, the friends come together to discuss what they do remember to see if they can figure out who may have murdered their teacher and what may have happened to their missing friend. In the meantime, someone is blackmailing the teens, sending them videos and threats, and they quickly realize that their own lives are in danger. Author Caroline George has written an excellent mystery set in a coastal Florida town that is told through the alternating viewpoints of Darby and Morgan.
