The Marrow Thieves

In a future Canada, after a global catastrophe, only the Native Americans can dream. Others cannot and have difficulty sleeping; some even go mad as a result. Consequently, government "recruiters" hunt Native Americans for their bone marrow which they extract for a cure. Young Frenchie and his brother, who are from an indigenous tribe called the Metis, are alone after their father and their mother are captured. Then Frenchie's brother is taken as well. Luckily Frenchie runs into a group of other Native Americans and they form a family on the run, hunting for their food and doing everything they can to evade the recruiters, but when one of them is captured, and they run into members of the tribe Frenchie left, they realize it's time to stop hiding and go on the offense. The Marrow Thieves is a post-apocalyptic tale for those who enjoy survival stories with a focus on relationships. #OwnVoices
