The Kingdom

Ana is a fantasist, a half-human/half-android entertainer working at the Kingdom, an amusement park that is similar to Disney World but with many different environments such as a lagoon, forest, mountain and more. There's also a hybrid program for bringing back extinct species such as polar bears. Ana and the other six fantasists entertain families, greeting them and taking their pictures, but Ana experiences an existential crisis when one of the other fantasists tries to drown a young girl in the lagoon and she starts having romantic feelings for one of the young men who works with the hybrids. Ana is then accused of committing a shockingly heinous crime and is put on trial. Told from Ana's point of view during the trial and in flashbacks to the past, The Kingdom is a suspenseful sci fi mystery that is almost impossible to put down!
