Illuminae

The year is 2575, and an illegal mining colony on Kerenza, is attacked by BeiTech Industries. Karenza High School seniors Kady and her boyfriend Ezra, who have just had a major fight, end up on different refugee ships fleeing BeiTech, which hopes to wipe out evidence of the carnage wrought by its company on Karenza. Kady is a genius with computers which comes in handy when AIDEN, the ship's Artificial Intelligence Defense Analytics Network, goes rogue and launches an attack on one of the other refugee ships. That ship has a virus loose on it that is basically turning everyone on board into zombies. Ezra has skills when it comes to piloting which is needed for a counterattack. Will the refugees make it to the worm hole at jump station Heimdall in order to tell the rest of the universe about BeiTech's atrocities?
