Booked

Nick is a teen soccer prodigy who spends a lot of time playing on the field as well as playing FIFA on the Xbox with his friend Coby whose also great at soccer. But everything goes downhill when his parents decide to separate and he’s bullied by a couple of twins. Additionally, Nick’s father forces him to read and learn SAT words from a dictionary that he wrote and published, but it’s not all bad. The girl he likes seems to like him back, or does she? Booked is a novel in verse that’s not just about soccer. It’s also about the highs and lows of being a teenager.
